Security Deposit
Our Security Deposit of $100 will be authorized at the time you pick up your equipment. The authorization is only held for a maximum of 7 days and automatically released unless there is an issue with damaged equipment. We will strive to release the funds within 1-2 days after the rental ends. Your credit card WILL NOT be charged at the time of authorization, but the funds will be held until released.
We will also accept a check for the $100 deposit upon pickup. The check will be held by us during your stay and for a few days after while we inspect the equipment. Within 2-3 days of dropping off the equipment we will destroy the check. An option that will be up to you to ensure the check is destroyed if you choose, we can either tear the check up and send you a text/email image of the destroyed check or we can write void on the check and mail it to you to dispose of.
If there is an issue/damage to any of the equipment during your stay, please reach out to us ASAP. We absolutely understand that things break and if it is not intentional damage or from misusing the equipment you will not be charged.
All our equipment has its own SKU# and is documented as to when it is used, so we can be transparent in any replacement costs there may be. Please treat all equipment as it is your own – so more people can enjoy it after you.
Please remember that the $100 Security Deposit MUST be authorized/check left at pick-up, we will not be able to go forward with the rental without the security deposit. If there are any issues with credit card authorization policy, please reach out to us and we will work on a resolution that works best for both of us.
